CapCut Pro Not Working: Check Login, Membership and Export
Check the original login method, active membership, intended platform and the resource named in the export prompt before buying Pro again. Store order verification and provider subscription activation are separate steps.

Record the symptom and protect the project
Write down whether the account shows Free/Standard/Pro, which device is affected and the exact message. A screenshot of the error and app version helps support far more than “Pro is not working.” Remove private media and account credentials from anything you share.
Back up source clips and local project data before clearing data, reinstalling or signing out. A troubleshooting step should not destroy the work you are trying to export.
Confirm the original account and login method
The official help lists account mismatch as a common explanation. Verify the original email/login method used for the purchase or delivered account. Apple, Google, email and other sign-in methods are not automatically the same account.
If you bought directly through an app store, compare the store subscription receipt with the account inside CapCut. If you bought a GetCheapTools package, follow its delivered instructions and order reference. Never request another customer’s login or post passwords publicly.
Check membership, expiry and platform benefits
Look at the current membership/expiry in the account. Confirm whether the paid tier is Standard or Pro and whether the provider supports that benefit on the intended platform. A store card’s PC/mobile compatibility still does not override its one-device limit.
For recent purchases, follow the provider’s sync/status troubleshooting and check whether payment was actually completed. For store orders, a submitted receipt can still be awaiting payment review or delivery. Do not interpret that as a failed provider charge.
Inspect the actual resource or setting named in the prompt
If the account is active, inspect the project’s premium effects, caption styles, templates, music and selected export settings. A particular resource or additional allowance may be separate from the function you expected to use.
Try a short non-sensitive project with only resources you are entitled to use. This can separate an account problem from a resource-specific one. Do not assume all AI functions or every new provider tier is included in an existing store package.
Use official updates and supported troubleshooting
Check current app/browser versions and use the official provider troubleshooting sequence. If a region/availability message appears, retain that exact message and contact the appropriate support route; this guide does not offer a geographic restriction bypass.
Avoid changing multiple settings at once. Retest after each safe change and keep the original project backup. Repeatedly paying for a new subscription before identifying the account can create a second billing problem.
Send the right evidence to the party that supplied access
For store delivery/access issues, contact GetCheapTools with the order reference, affected device, membership state and a redacted error screenshot. For a direct provider subscription, use the provider/app-store support route and the original receipt.
Use the cancellation checklist if you need to stop recurring billing. Review duration and warranty separately when assessing a fixed-duration store package. Troubleshooting does not itself establish refund eligibility.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does CapCut ask me to subscribe after I paid?
Check the original login method, membership expiry, tier/platform benefit and the exact premium resource in the prompt. A receipt and the editor account may refer to different identities.
Should I buy again immediately?
First verify the account and billing record. A duplicate purchase may not solve an account mismatch.
Can I clear app data safely without a backup?
Keep source clips and local project backups before reinstalling, clearing data or changing account sessions.
Does this guide test a customer account?
No. It is a source-based diagnostic checklist; no customer login or independent account/export test is claimed.
